GOPHER'S GARDEN MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $10.00
There's trouble in the garden! You are in the midst of a gopher invasion and
they're tearing up the place. You must find the pesky critters and get rid
of them before they eat all of your flowers. It isn't easy because you can't
actually see them. All you see is the flowers disappearing and an occasional
mound of dirt. While trying to catch them be careful to avoid crushing your
own flowers. Mouse support is provided as an automatic option.
MAXMAN MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $10.00
MaxMan is similar to PAC-MAN, but with innovative additions that make this
arcade game even more enjoyable. In MaxMan, you start out as a skinny guy.
When you get one of the magic apples, you gain sufficient energy to change
shape and destroy green gremlins for a while. You lose strength for each step
you take. If one of the gremlins gets you, your ghost may turn into what I
call a Grim Reaper.
The Grim Reapers are very hard to get. You must have sufficient energy to
gain a bright face. The higher your score, the more gremlins you'll have to
"face" in the next round. The number of bright stars in the squares provide
an indication of what level you're playing. It takes some doing to get them
all lit. MaxMan plays well on all monitors.
SUPER STARTREK MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $10.00
A super strategy game that's similar to "STARTREK" but with some sophisticated
differences. If you like Star Trek, you'll really like this one! Don't
forget to set your shields right after signing on as Captain of the
Enterprise. The Klingons won't wait to fire. You'll hear lot's of sound
while you control the fate of the Enterprise in your sector of the Galaxy.
You are given a fixed amount of time to explore, find, and destroy all of the
Klingon ships. There is a least one Space Station in your sector where you
can get supplies and have the Enterprise's equipment repaired. Look out for
the Vader ships! At high energy levels they are invisibility cloaked.

SHAREGAME #2 $30.00 256K RAM
AXTRONS MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $10.00
Eliminate your opponents by setting traps and direct combat based on your
energy level. Try to collect as many of the power coins thrown by the crowd
at the arena as you can. The ClyAxistrons are good trackers, so stay out of
their way - if you can. There's an extra prize for registered players with
really high scores.
OUTFOX MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $10.00
Try to "Out Fox" the fox in this computerized version of "Fox and Hounds".
Keep the fox at bay so he can't reach safety. The object is to surround the
fox so it can't move. The fences, trees, hedges, and rocks will help. Look
out for the rocks though. When the fox feels cornered or gets confused, they
move and sometimes plop down on a hound. Mouse support is provided as an
automatic option.
TILTMAZE MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $10.00
Get as many smile balls into the center as you can. It's not easy, when you
"tilt" the maze with the cursor keys, all of the balls start rolling in the
same direction. The bigger the tilt the faster they roll. Oh, you also have
to keep the balls from getting zapped by one of the electric grids.
SHAREGAME #3 $30.00 256K RAM
CLEANUP EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
Clean up the gold stars without hitting a barrier or your own trail. It takes
strategy and skill to avoid blocking your own path. CleanUp maintains score
logs for the top ten games and will monitor play time so two players can
compete. Scores are based on how fast and efficiently you can "drive the
little car". The author will send you a free game disk if you can beat the
score mentioned in the DOC file.
DUELING DRAGONS EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
Wrap your dragon around the opposing dragon so it can't move long enough to
be declared the winner. You also have to avoid getting wrapped up in your own
tail. Scoring is based on how fast you can pin your opponent and how many
moves you can make during the pin.
TRIAXIS EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
You are on an island composed of hexagonal bio-zones with different terrain.
Survival in TriAxis depends on how well you use the environment and control
your population. This challenging game is for two to six players and the
computer can also play. You can place your own markers at the start of each
game or let the computer position them at random. Game play is sort of a
cross between chinese checkers and regular checkers except smaller populations
cannot capture larger ones. "Harvest" and "Famine" add a random factor, as
Mother Nature does in our real environment.
SHAREGAME #4 $30.00 256K RAM
CIRCLINK EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
In this wild colorful game, you must move your marbles by rotating the links.
Each link has an opening on one side which has to match the opening in a link
to the left, right, or below. The links are rotated at random by pressing a
number for the column or an alphabet key for the row. There is a lot of
strategy involved in which row or column has the best chance of success to
move your marble, block an opponent, or crash another marble. The first one
to get the declared number of marbles to the bottom of the links wins. For
one to four players and the computer can also play.
SPIDER EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
Spider Web is a crazy exercise, with a mouse or joystick, in which you must
spin a web to catch all of the flies before they over-populate. The most
effective web, although you can make it anyway you want, looks like the ones
a real garden spider spins. The best scores are achieved by keeping the
number of flies trimmed to a small number and playing for as long as possible.
Webs can also be spun with just the cursor keys.
VORTEX MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
How tornadoes pick things up and drop them inspired Vortex. The object is to
succeed in trapping as many of the tornadoes as possible. Each tornado picks
up and drops blocks at random. They can only carry one at a time but you can
pick up three. The color density of the cursor increases each time you pick
up a block. If you have one or more blocks and are not moving you're safe.
Otherwise, if a tornado catches you, it will pick YOU up and the game ends.
It's not easy, the captured tornados may be set free by other tornados.
SHAREGAME #5 $30.00 256K RAM
HOWTWO EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
HowTwo is a build-it game. You must collect all of the robot part boxes in
the 10-story building and take them to the laboratory for assembly. You have
to watch your battery supply. If you don't have enough batteries to run the
elevator and lifts, you can get stranded. The elevator and lifts sometimes
need to be repaired so they work reliably. Look out for the berserk Stock
Clerk Robot. It keeps taking parts to its attic stockroom and raiding the
battery storage room. Good luck! You need it to finish building the robot.
RODRONES EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
This is a challenging game in which you must think in three-dimensions to
succeed. You must position your Robot Drones close enough to the intruders
in your space sector to destroy them when they are "fired". After
repositioning, the RoDrones will report their distance to any intruders. For
advanced play, the game will print a graph you can use with a compass to
calculate the intruder positions.
SPINWALL EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
In this colorful maze game, you are a ghost who can walk through walls
matching the colors of the magic keys you can collect. At first, all of the
walls are solid. Pressing the "SPIN" key causes the corners of the walls to
spin at random, opening different doorways. Each spin costs one of the gems
you must also collect. Bumping into solid walls and knocking over paint cans
costs points. The object is to maneuver through the maze, collect all of the
keys and gems, and get to the winners circle with a minimum number of steps.
High scores are rewarded with extra gems for the next game. It takes some
strategy and luck to build your score up to the top level.
SHAREGAME #6 $30.00 256K RAM
STRUDLE EGA/VGA 16 Color $30.00
This is a unique drawing/painting program for children of any age. It's an
excellent child's educational, developmental, FUN tool designed to be as
simple as possible. It's actually a child's "crayola" version of ArtPict
which is an adult-size art-quality drawing program. It includes sound
effects, saves drawings to work on or enjoy again later, and much more. It's
fun watching the drawings happen again. When drawings are loaded they are
actually redrawn as if you were watching them being drawn the first time.
Ten "ready to color" drawings, which you can watch being drawn, are included.
When they're finished, they can be painted and details added. The drawings
are carefully designed to encourage experimenting and avoid the "I can't do
that" effect. It's easy for Dad or Mom to add more drawings to the ready to
color collection.
There are only a few "grown up" keys such as <S>ave and <L>oad. Everything
else takes place on the number keypad. Mouse support is provided as an
automatic option. Additional drawings may be ordered from the author.
SHAREGAME #6A $20.00
STRUDLE EGA/VGA 16 Color $20.00
This disk contains twenty additional drawings for Strudle. The collection
includes a group of zoo animals which you can watch being drawn. When they're
finished you can color the drawings and add more details. Unlike a coloring
book, you can use these drawings over and over.
SHAREGAME #7 512K RAM
STARBOLT EGA/VGA 16 Color <Under revision>
You are at the control console of a one-man StarBolt space fighter. The
cursor keys, mouse, or joystick may be used to maneuver your ship. Your
mission is to protect the space station, where you must successfully dock to
resupply your ship, from invading saucers and stray asteroids. This is not
a simple point and shoot. You are in a three-dimensional environment and the
saucer that's shooting may be above, below, to the left or right, or behind
you. Your instruments will help, but you must learn how to dog-fight in outer
space. StarBolt looks its best on a 256K display adapter. Note: Keep in
touch with the author. There are some nice updates scheduled for this
program.
WIERDSND MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA 16 Color $5.00
WierdSound was originally developed to provide a way to resolve display and
other problems for registrants having problems with some my programs. Now,
in its current form, WierdSound is a fun demonstration of the random melody
generator used in many of the ShareGames. It plays a soft jazz style melody,
that never repeats itself. Random circles or rectangles are also splashed
onto the screen, matching the melody, and the colors change at random. It's
really colorful in EGA and you can watch the colors change their hue in VGA.
(WierdSound is deliberately misspelled.)
SHAREGAME #8 $35.00 384K RAM
DRESSMEUP EGA/VGA 16 Color $25.00
DressMeUp is an imaginative paper doll game with a cute collection of animals
to dress up. A girl and a boy may be picked from any of the four different
animals on the shelf to play with. There are blouses, skirts, slacks, hose,
purses, jackets, shoes, hats, coats, shirts, sweaters, pants, and socks hidden
behind the cabinet doors to choose from. DressMeUp comes with two complete
outfits for the girl and boy animals and eight more outfits can be added to
their wardrobes. Provisions are available to replace any of the items in any
of the ten outfits with new items of clothing to provide a constant variety.
In addition to all of the different outfits, a Water Color box will appear on
the screen and let you paint the clothes or the animals themselves. The paint
box includes polka dots, stripes, and a wild plaid. Mouse support is provided
as an automatic option. Additional outfits are available from the author.
If you send a picture, custom designed clothing or animals may also be
ordered.
Although there is no real age requirement, both DressMeUp and Strudle are
designed for "little people" that are just starting to learn. The color,
sound, and action make a delighted lapful while sharing some closeness.
SHAREGAME #8A $10.00
DRESSMEUP EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
This disk contains two additional outfits for DressMeUp. The outfits include
Beach and Tennis wear. Unlike real paper dolls, you can't wear out or lose
these clothes. This disk is only available direct from the author.
SHAREGAME #8B $10.00
DRESSMEUP EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
This disk contains two more outfits for DressMeUp. The outfits include formal
wear and business suits. Have you ever seen a rabbit in a tuxedo? This disk
is only available direct from the author.
SHAREGAME #8C $10.00
DRESSMEUP EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
This disk has two more outfits for DressMeUp. Nurse, Doctor, and Night
Clothes are the theme of these outfits. This disk is only available direct
from the author.
SHAREGAME #8D $10.00
DRESSMEUP EGA/VGA 16 Color $10.00
This disk has two more outfits for DressMeUp. A Sock Hop Dance and Western
cowboy clothes are the theme of these outfits. This disk is only available
direct from the author.
SHAREGAME #9 $15.00 256K RAM
PALLANDA EGA/VGA 16 Color $15.00
This is a fun game for the "little people", with enough strategy to make it
interesting for Dad and Mom. King Pallanda can be included as one of the four
players. The name, Pallanda, comes from 'Pal Land' where everyone plays
happily together and King Pallanda makes sure everyone plays fair. Pallanda
is designed so even youngsters that aren't reading yet can learn to play.
The object is to land in the winner's circle by moving to the closest color
shown on the spinner. It sounds simple. However, the nearest matching color
is often in the wrong direction and sometimes you must choose between squares
that are the same distance away. There are some hidden surprises along the
way with pictures you can watch being drawn. A red wagon, with a broken
wheel, that makes you spin for a red square is one you'll see. Some will give
you an extra turn and others make you skip a turn. The surprises are hidden
in new locations at the start of each game. If a player qualifies, their
name, score, and date are added to the top ten score file.

PIRATE'S REVENGE EGA/VGA 16 Color <Pending Revision>
This game, together with ArtPict, make an unusual pair of programs. Pirate's
Revenge is a fun colorful adventure game, with high resolution graphics, that
does a lot of talking while you try to find the treasure. The other is
ArtPict, which is an art quality graphics editor for the game's pictures. The
two combined allow you to create or improve the pictures to suit how you want
the game to look. It's also a fun way to show off your artistic talents to
your friends.
One to four players may compete for the highest score. To win, you must
collect tools to dig with, water for the blazing hot days, weapons to defend
yourself, and crackers to teach the parrot (if you find one) to talk. Don't
forget to keep your powder dry when it rains. You can save up to ten
different games, with different players, and continue any game later.
The text and control parameters for the adventures are contained in files, so
you can modify how the game talks and what scenes appear. For example, each
adventure has two picture panels which its DAT file controls. Any combination
of left, right or both may be used. The game will create a blank color panel,
if a graphic image is not available.
The "pictures" currently on the disk are not polished and some of them are
incomplete or a blank color frame. They are only intended to get you started.
If you wish, your contributions to the art work will be shared with the other
artists who are willing to help. The best, with your initials, will be added
to the distribution disks.
SHAREGAME #11 $10.00

FOREST, GLADE, JUNGLE, PYTHON, SKULL, STREAM, and TIGER.
Although Pirate's Revenge will play on a single floppy, a dual floppy or hard
drive system is required to take full advantage of the pictures.
SHAREGAME #12 $10.00
PICTURE DISK $10.00
This disk contains additional pictures for Pirate's Revenge that won't fit on
ShareGame #10 or #11. Included on the disk are; BLANK, FOUNTAIN, GHOST, HOLE,
PIT, and SKELETON.

SHAREGAME #14 $45.00 256K RAM
ACTMENU MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $25.00
ActMenu puts the full power of DOS into single key or mouse click menus. You
can design and color the menus with the built in menu editor or any text
processor. This is an excellent choice for inclusion in your AUTOEXEC.BAT
file to give you rapid access to all of the assets in your system. Each menu
can contain up to 51 different selections. The entire alphabet, 0 through 9,
the upper case number keys, and 5 punctuation characters are available. A
total of 43 Menus may be created, each able to directly access any other menu
panel. Over 2,000 different menu selections are possible.
The control files direct DOS to execute up to three batch file type statements
for each menu selection. You can set the disk drive, change directories, and
then execute a program. For complex tasks you can execute three batch files
with a single key-stroke. Mouse support is provided as an automatic option.
A rather large DOS help file, you can scan or use to import DOS commands into
any of the ActMenu command lines, is also provided. It opens with a index
listing of the DOS commands. Following it are descriptions showing exactly
how to format each command and explaining, in simple words, how each command
actually works. It makes using DOS a snap.
As extra assets, ActMenu has a scanner file you can use as a phone directory
and will post calendar reminders on the screen for your appointments and
special days. If you have a telephone modem, ActMenu will dial the numbers
in the scanner file for you. Attractive help windows are also provided.
ActMenu does not monitor the keyboard. As a result, you can select and
execute ANY program without worrying about affecting its operation. Before
executing a command, ActMenu shrinks itself to leave over 510 KB for program
use in a 640 KB system.
Three menus are furnished with ActMenu to get you started. The first you'll
see is the Main Menu. It's set up to display the documentation, perform some
DOS functions, and to select the Games Menu. The Games Menu lists all of the
ShareGames somewhat the way I use it. The other menu, which may be accessed
from the Main Menu, is a blank which you can use to create other menus.
When you exit a selected program and the screen is clear, you will be returned
to ActMenu ready to make another selection. If the executed program or BAT
file leaves information on the screen, ActMenu will chirp and wait a moment
before displaying the menu again.
SHAREGAME #15 $25.00 384K RAM
ACTCLDR MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $15.00
The ActCalendar program can be used in conjunction with ActMenu, or as a
stand-alone program, to display over 1,000 of your scheduled events over a
four year span. Initially, ActCalendar displays six months with the current
month at the top center. All of the Holidays and your scheduled event days
will be highlighted. Dates may then be selected with the cursor keys or a
mouse to display or edit the highlighted events. A schedule of the week,
which allows display and edit of up to five events for each day, or a date
screen for up to ten entries, may be accessed for the date identified by the
cursor. Reminders are automatically relocated just by changing the date.
The page keys or mouse hooks will let you step forward or backward by dates,
weeks, months, or years through the calendar. Annual events, such as holidays
and birthdays only have to be entered once to appear on the calendar for every
year. The editor will allow you to use any of the 255 ASCII characters to
fancy up your reminders. The disk includes a file with holidays that occur
on the same date and the "week-end" holidays for 1990 and 1991. Keep in touch
with the author. Additional assets are planned for ActMenu and ActCalendar.
SHAREGAME #16 $55.00 256K RAM
DIRBACK MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $35.00
DirBack makes daily hard disk backups a breeze. A few minutes a day will keep
your backup disks ready to restore your hard drive on a moments notice. You
only need to update the disks with directories you know have changed. You put
the floppy in a drive and select <U>pdate. Even complex directory structures
are handled automatically. DirBack will NEVER write an older file on top of
a newer version and only copies files that are new or have changed.
Rather than create the usual DOS "backup/restore" style disks that require
using the entire set of floppy disks to recover a single directory or file,
DirBack creates directories and copies files to and from any drive. The
result of backing up your hard drive is a set of floppies, that duplicate all
of the directories and files on your hard drive. If you need a program or any
combination of files on a backup floppy you can use DirBack, a disk manager,
or the DOS commands to copy or execute them.
Another DirBack asset is peace of mind. DirBack automatically checks itself
and your primary system files, COMMAND.COM, MSDOS.SYS, and IO.SYS, (or the IBM
DOS versions) and will report any time, date, length, or content change every
time you execute DirBack. Each file is checked, bit for bit, against files
stored in DirBack's stash directory faster than DOS can copy a file.
The same VIRUS CHECK options are available each time you update your backup
disks. All files and programs, with matching times and dates, are checked to
verify both files are still the same length. You may also select the bit-for-
bit compare option for executable programs or all files on the target disk.
There is no way the virus mongers can mess with the floppies in your storage
box. I use DirBack daily, and ShareGames will update all registered copies
immediately, at my expense, if there is any indication of a virus aimed
specifically at DirBack or a messed up file that DirBack can't catch.

ARTPICT EGA/VGA 16 Color <No longer available>
ArtPict will draw pixel resolution "BSAVE" quarter, half, and full screen
pictures or point-to-point data files. The point-to-point drawing files may
be merged with existing drawings. The menu selections include size controlled
rectangles; dots; circles; oblique circles; point, cursor or mouse drawn
lines; single key selection of sixteen colors; and palette ordering to set any
of the sixteen attributes to any of sixty-four colors. Some don't even have
names. Color selection allows adding binary increments for red, blue, and
green while you watch the color change on the screen. The palette option also
allows quick selection of the standard PC palette or a color corrected palette
that includes orange.
There isn't room here to describe all of ArtPict's features. Although ArtPict
is designed to work with Pirate's Revenge, the bit image BSAVE pictures may
be used in other programs or enjoyed on the screen. The detailed instructions
are available from the author for registered users.
Note: ArtPict now also does point-to-point drawing files such as those used
in DressMeUp. The resulting files are considerably smaller than the BSAVE
files and can be edited from inside ArtPict or with a text processor. Now
that I depend on ArtPict to do all of the drawings for the Greeting Disks(tm),
it is no longer available for distribution.
SHAREGAME #18 $15.00 256K RAM
MUSICGEN MDA/CGA/EGA/VGA $15.00
MusicGen is the program used to create the music for the ShareGames Greeting
Disks(tm). The ASCII music files generated by the program are compatible with
most BASIC programs using the "PLAY" command and the public domain program
PLAY.COM.
The music notes are displayed similar to sheet music with a few adaptations
because the PC only plays one note at a time. Almost anything, except
loudness, specified on standard sheet music can be entered with the simple
prompts. You can insert, delete, or move notes up and down the scale. Notes
and rests can be set to Whole, Half, Quarter, Eighth, Sixteenth, Thirty-
seconds, or Sixty-fourths as well as extended. The prompts also allow
entering three note cords by selecting the key (ABCDEFG); then <N>ormal,
<F>lat, or <S>harp; and <N>ormal(Major), <M>inor, <A>ugmented, or <S>eventh.
MusicGen also helps you control the timing of your music. Bars are inserted
automatically and if the notes do not total correctly for 4/4 or 3/4 timing,
the ending bar is highlighted. Currently about 25 different melodies are
included on the disk as examples.
